Showing full date in the output

I will freely admit my status as a jQuery n00b, but I started playing around with your jToday plugin and was wondering if it would be possible to start adding some different display options to it.

For instance, I would like to see the year up in the red area of the graphic, and then the month (abbreviated) and day in the lower area of the graphic. However, from looking at both the .css and the jToday.js file, it looks like it would be difficult to concatenate the month/day info. Obviously, displaying the year is the easy part (change the .css with appropriate values instead of display: none;).

My C# brain would say "Add an overload to the $(".jToday").jToday() function to take an additional parameter that would dictate the final display and that's what would be pumped down to the innerHTML of the <div> tag.

Any thoughts?
